At last!

Sorry for the all day wait folks, but Greg and I are thrilled and tickled to get to announce the addition of Annabelle Grace to our family at long last.

Her name is Ling Cha Tao (we have no idea what that means) and she was born February 14, 2008 in the Jiangxi Province. She's currently living at the Shangrao SWI in the city of Shangrao. All of medical info checks and well and she looks like a firecracker!

Did I mention she is possibly the cutest baby on the planet with the most munchable toes I've ever seen? See for yourself!

According to the referral packet we received she laughs a lot, is very active, and is sometimes obstinate. She sounds just like her dad.

We couldn't be happier!

  13. Our youngest daughter is also a "Ling" baby from Shangrao. We traveled in April 2005 to Nanchang to meet her (met first daughter in Nanchang in 2002) I'd be happy to answer what questions you may have. Another good source of information is the Shangrao CWI Yahoo group. Here's the link if you haven't checked it out already--

  21. congratulations!
We are also parents to an amazing Shangrao-Ling baby! We met her this summer and have been home with her for 6 months. Our daughter's name is Ling Cha Tian. Cha refers to the finding location (the Cha Ting Old Folks Home) - all Ling babies are named according to their finding spot.
Please be in touch if you have any questions at all!

  36. HI

Yet another Ling mum. We came home in august 07 (we are in the UK). Your daughter and mine share the same name Tao -which depending on the character, means in the mood of happiness.

Our daughter was also called Tao Tao by the foster family. Do check out if she has a nickname!

Any questions, do get in touch. And do join the orphanage group.

    All the best.
